The more complicated component is to understand what constitutes quantity traffic and what qualifies as quality traffic. This is best demonstrated in Pay Per Click where too often business “bid” on broad high volume traffic and pay Google small fortunes with little to no return while ignoring the smaller more focused phrases which actually bring a return on investment.

2) Reputation Management – A business on the 1st page of Google has only partly accomplished what they can and should accomplish. Rather than being one of the “top 10” results on the 1st page reputation management is positioning a business to “dominate” the 1st page of results. Realistically you will rarely, if ever, be able to dominate all 10 positions, but leveraging the power of blogs, articles, social media, video search engine optimization, and the many other forms of online resources you can and should be able to dominate 50%+ of the 1st page with your targeted content!
